
NURTURING PARENT PROGRAM
The Nurturing Parenting Program is a primary, early-prevention program administered by New Vision, Inc.
This program is for parents/caregivers of children ages o-8. It aims to help families build caring, empathic parent-child relationships through education in bonding and attachment.
The Nurturing Parenting curriculum can be offered in group settings and/or home visitations.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
- Classes are provided by a trained facilitator once weekly for 4-6 weeks and will last 1-2 hours
- Parents/caregivers will be given a take-home lesson packet
- Weekly lessons will focus on parenting issues and how to successfully address them in a healthy, nurturing manner
- Parents/ caregivers who attend all sessions will receive a certificate of completion

The Program is FREE of charge at designated locations throughout the Mid-Cumberland Region.
